ASSISTANT TEACHER

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting with the daily supervision and management of a group of 4 to 15 children between the ages of 0 and 14 years.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well to them, their families, and fellow employees.
2. Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or other related field. OR
3. Current CDA Certificate in Early Childhood Education and 1 year of experience teaching young children in a group setting. OR
4. 6 credit hours of Early Childhood Education college courses and 3 years of experience teaching young children in a group setting. OR
5. High school diploma and 4 years of experience teaching children in a group setting.
6. Prefer at least 1 year of experience in a NAEYC accredited program.
7. CPR certified or obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
