Rainbow Station Student Present the Seven Habits At Longwood University!
February 20, 2012 Several of our Rainbow Station Students were invited to present the Covey 7 Habits at Longwood University. The presentation was part of Longwoods Executive-In-Residence Series. The Students accompanied Gail Johnson, President and CEO of Rainbow Station Inc., in sharing Rainbow Station's goals and how we use Covey to achieve them with those in attendance.

Baby Yoga Featured on CBS's "Virginia This Morning"!
February 9, 2012 Our Baby Yoga Class was highlighted on CBS's " Virginia This Morning". Ms. Julie Everett, our yoga instructer, as well as Erin Rice and her son Cooperdid a small demo of what we'll be offereing at our Baby Yoga Class on Feb. 16th to Benefit the Capital Diaper Bank. Synergy Yoga will be providing Yoga Mats for the event. Be sure to register soon!

Rainbow Station Diaper Drive!
January 13, 2012 Richmond Area Rainbow Stations are joining forces with
Children R First and Capital Diaper Bank to host a Diaper Drive!
Starting February 1st, all four schools will taking donations in the form of disposable diapers, wipes, and cash to purchase diapers. All donations collected will be donated to Capital Diaper Bank.
To kick off this event Rainbow Station at Wyndham will be hosting a Baby Yoga Class taught by our own Certified Yoga Instructor, Ms. Julie Everett! The workshop is from 6:00-7:00 PM in our Village Gym, and is open to babies and toddlers through age 2, accompanied with a guardian. The admission free with a donation of a package of disposable diapers .

Baby Signs Workshop!
November 8, 2011 On November 16th, we are partnering with Children-R-First to host our first Baby Signs Certification Course in the Village gym. This is a free event for RSW families and staff, but also open to other staff and families at Rainbow Stations for $5 and anyone else $8.

Trunk Or Treat 2011!

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*
What and When:
On Saturday, October 29th 2011, the Village at Rainbow Station will have its 3rd annual Trunk of Treat event! Children can enjoy a fun and safe evening of "trunk" or treating by traveling from trunk to trunk in a contained area of our parking lot.
Do We Have to Decorate a trunk?
Decorating a trunk is optional, but encouraged! Enter your trunk in our decorating contest no later than October 27th for a chance to win a free week's tuition by filling out the trunk registration form.
What Should We Bring?
Please bring a bag of PEANUT FREE candy per child for admission. All candy must be wrapped in its original packaging. Rainbow Station will provide additional candy for all trunks.
Costumes are welcome! Don't forget to bring along your own bucket or bag to trick or treat with!
Will There be Other Food Besides Candy?
Pizza and cider will be available for purchase. Families will also enjoy pumpkin painting, fall crafts, games, and more!
If you are planning on registering a trunk, please read the following:
- Check in and set up begins at 5:00 p.m. in the designated portion of the parking lot and should be completed no later than 6:00 p.m.
- When you check in you will receive a number pass. This number will match your designated parking space. Please place the pass in a visible area on your trunk so that everyone knows which trunk to vote for.
- Don't make your trunk too scary! Remember, kids of varying ages will be visiting your trunk.
- Please hand out one treat to each child that visits your trunk!
