Students enrolled at Rainbow Station are assessed twice during the school year by our team. Developmental evaluations are completed during the month of October to identify a child's strengths socially, cognitively, and physically. Teachers use assessment results to enhance and build upon a student's strengths while simultaneously addressing any areas needing support.
Students are assessed again in the Spring semester. Results of both assessments are shared with parents during parent teacher conferences. In additions to developmental evaluations, teachers maintain a portfolio of student's work to demonstrate academic, social and physical milestones achieved during the school year.
