How can I make a reservation?
Up to 20 children may be admitted daily on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to Rainbow Station children. Reservations may be made in advance by calling your Get Well Place of choice. After hours, please leave a message and our nurse will speak with you in the morning.
Is my child eligible, and what is required?
All children from birth to 12 years are eligible for enrollment. CHILDREN DO NOT NEED TO BE ENROLLED in Rainbow Station to use The Get Well Place. An immunization record signed by your child’s pediatrician is required for admission, in addition to a completed registration forms and registration fee.
What is your isolation policy?
Children are isolated according to symptoms in four separate areas:
Respiratory Conditions: Sniffle Stop
Gastrointestinal: Whoozy Station
Chicken Pox: Spot Stop
Convalescent: Rest Stop
What about my special needs child?
Depending on the child's medical/nursing needs, chronically ill children may be admitted to The Get Well Place, or may be supervised by a nurse from The Get Well Place while participating in the regular activities of Rainbow Station.
Full and part day rates (5 hours or less) are available for Mildly Ill Backup Care
Care for children who require additional skilled nursing services are charged on an individual basis based on the extent of care required. The actual cost will be determined before admission. These charges are in addition to the standard tuition and fees for Rainbow Station or The Get Well Place.
Are other ancillary services available for my child?
Additional services, such as occupational, physical, and speech therapy, are available on a contract basis with your child’s physician’s order. Please contact your Director or Get Well Place Nurse to learn more.
Will you pick up my child from school or at a childcare center?
We can provide transportation for pre-registered, school-aged children, with your authorization. If you have any questions, please contact your Director or Get Well Place Nurse to learn more and complete required authorization documents.
