During the first three-to-four years of a child's life, the rudiments of
language take shape and foundations of learning are established. Talking,
reading and intellectual stimulation are important at this age. The way
preschoolers learn is through play.
At the Preschool at Rainbow Station®,
highly trained teachers employ our proprietary curriculum called PLAYWORKS©,
which teaches a child as he plays and interacts with other children.
Our preschool program offers:
-
Primary care groups
-
Bright, open classrooms that promote independence
-
A fun, creative, educational curriculum that is based on standards of
learning and addresses all the major areas of child development: social and
emotional, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills and language
-
Developmentally appropriate thematic learning experiences
-
Music and creative movement instruction
-
Classroom computers
-
Values-based education
-
Emphasis on health and wellness
